ALLIE VAN STEAN

Allie Van Stean is an associate attorney in the firm’s Civil Litigation section. Allie graduated from the University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law in 2018 after excelling in the school’s advocacy program and winning the National Criminal Procedure Moot Court Competition. Upon graduation, Allie was presented the Award for Excellence in Appellate Advocacy, the Appellate Section of the State Bar of Texas’ highest honor for law students. During her time at UNT-Dallas, Allie was an active participant on the Executive Board of the Board of Advocates, encouraging and facilitating advocacy among students. While in law school, she gained valuable experience as a law clerk with Kizzia Johnson PLLC. Allie gained experience with domestic abuse cases in law school while volunteering in Court Partnership with Genesis Women’s Shelter to monitor protective order cases as part of her community engagement program.

Allie represents clients in a myriad of issues, including personal injury, medical malpractice, excessive force and police brutality, fourth amendment search and seizure claims, and first amendment freedom of speech claims. In addition, she handles contract disputes and simple estate probate. Allie is passionate about the protection of civil rights and is a firm advocate for her clients.
